The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) is a major organization in Canada which represents the Lutheran reformation of the catholic Christian church. The ELCIC was formed in 1986 from a merger of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Canada and the Lutheran Church in America, Canada Section.
